Sol i Vida –overlooking Barcelona wedding -Joanne & Ben

Joanne & Ben from Ireland fell in love with “Sol i Vida” venue because of the concept and the people, and the important charity aspect. So they decided to have an overlooking Barcelona wedding here.

With the help of Petra from PearlSandals they organized an amazing wedding, very personal and full of details like Strawberries everywhere, even in the welcome drinks and cava, and the Beer tasting of craft beer in the Chiringuito in the garden or the Churros and Chocolate at midnight instead of the traditional cake. The event was full of color, thanks to the wonderful flowers from Vidiella Flors and the amazing “rainbow bride’s maids”, and the bride was like a Greece’s goddess dressed in gold.

The ceremony was very special with a burning bowl ceremony where all present burned notes with something they wanted to let go of and something they wanted to evoke. They had the Irish tradition of ring warming as well, with family and friends sending their love and positive energy and wishes for the couple. What a better way to begin a marriage!
